When I first saw your custom bell at the Newport Boat Show I was impressed. It looked more like jewelery than a bell. When my new custom bell arrived I couldn't wait to mount it. I think the most impressive thing about the bell is the quality of the workmanship involved in creating our magazines mascot, Atty "The Dude" Tude. It was perfect.

Once again, it has been a pleasure working with Bellingham Bell, and you can be assured, if I ever sell my boat, one of the first things I will order for a new boat will be one of your bells. It makes a yacht complete.

Peter was visibly touched when he lifted his Bellingham Bell out of its box. I think it means a great deal to him.

At the end of my speech, I asked those present if they knew the purpose of a ship's bell. Some knew, most didn't. Peter did. I explained the role the bell plays in signaling the watch, and at the end, I rang Peter's bell 8 times to signal the end of his final watch at Leasing Associates. Not a dry eye in the house.

The bell is a work of art, truly. Well done.
